Link Airways has announced it will suspend flights between Narrabri and Sydney on its route between Brisbane and the NSW capital.
The airline issued a northern NSW network update on Monday, with the change set to take effect from March 1, 2025. Flights will continue to operate between Narrabri, Inverell and Brisbane.
“Due to reduced demand Sydney flights will be suspended, however, we will continue to monitor the market closely and look to return to Sydney when demand recovers,” the airline said in its update.
“Customers on affected Sydney flights will be contacted and offered a full refund or a re-booking on alternative flights to Brisbane.
“Link Airways would like to thank the Inverell and Narrabri communities, and Councils, for their on-going support since Link Airways’ commenced flights at both locations in 2017.”
