A man wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant has faced charged with domestic violence and assault-related offences in Boggabilla.
Officers attached to New England Police District received reports of several alleged intimidation offences between Sunday, July 20 and Monday, July 21.
Following inquiries, about 1.15pm on Wednesday, July 30, police attended a home on Merriwa Street, Boggabilla, to speak with a man.
The man ran from the location and police commenced a foot pursuit. He was arrested a short time later and taken to Moree Police Station.
The 24-year-old man was charged with two counts of stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm, common assault, and affray.
Police also executed an outstanding arrest warrant for domestic violence, and weapon-related offences.
He was refused bail and appeared before a bail division court last Thursday, July 31.
