Narrabri Shire Council will again support local businesses this October with a series of workshops and forums planned as part of NSW Small Business Month 2025.
Designed to address current challenges and opportunities for small businesses, the program will provide practical knowledge, networking and insights across key areas including workplace safety, cyber security, artificial intelligence and the hospitality sector.
Mayor Darrell Tiemens said the program reflects council’s commitment to supporting local small businesses, and a strong, vibrant economy.
“Narrabri Shire is home to an incredible range of small businesses that form the backbone of our local economy,” Cr Tiemens said.
“NSW Small Business Month is a chance to recognise their contribution and provide them with access to practical tools, fresh ideas and expert advice. Council is proud to deliver a program that speaks directly to the challenges and opportunities facing our business community, while also encouraging connection and collaboration across industries.”
