Dog owners are being urged to keep their pets in secure yards with the Christmas period approaching and parcels being delivered to homes. More than 1190 dog-related incidents have occurred nationwide in the past six months, with one in three incidents occurring on a customer’s property. Postal deliveries can be ceased to a home or street if a worker is threatened or injured by an aggressive dog.
