The Westpac Rescue Helicopter service was tasked to Moree Hospital at 2pm on Thursday, November 27.
The service was deployed to the facility on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Moree Hospital to Tamworth Base Hospital.
A man aged in his 70s, suffering a serious medical condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth.
