The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service was deployed on an urgent inter-hospital transfer from Narrabri Hospital to the Tamworth Regional Referral Hospital at 2.40pm on Thursday, November 27.
A woman aged in her 50s, suffering a serious respiratory condition, was stabilised by hospital staff and the NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic and a NSW Health doctor from the helicopter’s critical care medical team before being airlifted to Tamworth.
