Santa Claus cruised into Spring Plains in his signature style on Sunday evening, perched on top of the Rural Fire Service’s Spring Plains West truck, with sirens flashing and festive tunes playing.
Local children gave the jolly man in red a very warm welcome to the community’s popular Christmas tree event, waving and bursting with excitement as he generously showered them with sweet treats.
Event organiser Katie Watson captured some very special Santa snaps, which will be treasured memories for families.
Locals, friends, and families praised Katie and her carol of helpful elves for coordinating such a brilliant gathering.
Katie thanked all the attendees, “What a magical evening. Santa tells me he had a wonderful time; he made it home safely and is now back at the North Pole warming his toes by the fire.
“Thank you to everyone who helped set up, pack up, and brought along something tasty to share. And Santa was extra impressed with the beautiful manners of the Spring Plains kids, so much so that he’s bumped you all up the ‘Nice List’. Merry Christmas.”
