Member for Northern Tablelands Brendan Moylan has been promoted to the Opposition frontbench.

NSW Liberal leader Kellie Sloane announced her shadow ministry earlier this month.

Mr Moylan was announced as the Shadow Minister for Agriculture and the Shadow Minister for Prevention of Regional Crime.

He joins other North West representatives including Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson who holds the portfolios of hospitality and gaming, tourism, Western NSW and seniors, and Gunnedah-based Upper House member Sarah Mitchell who holds the portfolios of health, regional health and mental health. Mr Anderson is Deputy Leader of the NSW Nationals while Ms Mitchell is Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council.

Announcing her shadow cabinet, Ms Sloane said it was a team that is ready to govern.

“This is a team that has experienced former ministers, blending that with fresh new talent, people that know how to run government,” she said. “And people that know how NSW is changing.”
