Now is the time to dispose of those heavy, awkward and unwanted items with Moree Plains Shire Council’s free bulky waste collection.
Registrations for the Moree Plains March 2026 Bulky Waste Collection are now open, with residents encouraged to submit a bulky waste request via the online form before March 6.
Collection for Moree township and surrounds (Gurley, Gwydirville and Bendygleet) will take place on Monday, March 9. Bookings will close on March 6.
For Moree villages (Ashley, Biniguy, Boggabilla, Boomi, Garah, Mungindi, Pallamallawa, Weemelah, Vitonga Road and Yarraman), collection will take place on Monday, March 16. Bookings will close on March 6.
To register your pick-up, submit a bulky waste request online or call the waste hotline.
After registering and on the weekend before collection starts, separate and stack items into four piles on the kerb: Large items; general household waste; green waste; and metals, whitegoods and e-waste.
Only a total of three cubic metres (3m x 1m x 1m) of waste per household is permitted.
No items should be put out or added to the existing piles after Sunday night even if waste remains.
Items must be no heavier than two people can carry.
Book your Bulky waste in online at https://moree-waste-info.web.app/forms/bulky-waste, alternatively, residents can call the waste hotline on 1300 736 719.
