King Frederik X and Queen Mary, of Denmark, will step foot on Australian soil in March for a state visit, Amalienborg Palace announced. This visit will also mark a home-coming for the Tasmanian-born Queen. This will be the royal couple’s fourth official visit to Australia, and their first since the King’s ascension to the Danish throne. The six-day visit is expected to include the Northern Territory, the Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania, for a number of business and cultural engagements.
