Aviation enthusiasts rejoice! The new Western Sydney Airport is expected to welcome its first passenger flights by October 2026. Cargo flights are expected to start by July. Flight details are still limited, however, it has been confirmed that Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Air New Zealand and Jetstar will operate at the new terminal. The airport is expected to alleviate pressure on the capacity Sydney Airport. The new airport will be curfew-free and should add 200 extra flights per day to Sydney’s aviation capacity.
