Narrabri Police have confirmed they are investigating an incident involving a local child being approached by the driver of a van.
It was reported that a child had been approached by someone driving a white van, in Bowen Street, and seeking directions.
The incident occurred near a Narrabri school late last week.
Police are reviewing CCTV footage and are conducting inquiries into the matter.
