Will water restriction times change now that daylight saving has ended?

Now that daylight saving has finally finished is the council going to change the times of water restrictions?

At 90 years of age, it has been most difficult to water my garden during the hours allowed, but now it is impossible, as it’s dark well before 7pm and I can’t risk going down the steps or ramp at that time, even though I do have outside lights.

I’m sure I’m not the only one finding it hard to water. I love my garden and don’t want to see any more of it die through lack of water.

I know we all have to conserve water, having lived on a farm for more than sixty years I’m well aware of that, but surely some consideration could be made to Narrabri’s seniors or people with a disability who still like to have a nice garden.
