Regional telecommunications provider axxis is celebrating the first anniversary of its Narrabri store, marking a successful first year of operation and continued growth across regional NSW.

axxis Narrabri opened its doors on Monday, April 14, 2025, following the establishment of axxis in Dubbo in 1989. axxis currently has four locations across the region, reinforcing its commitment to delivering reliable telecommunications services and personalised customer support.

To celebrate this milestone, axxis Narrabri will host a community event on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, commencing at 5:00pm. The evening will include a free gift for the first 50 attendees, followed by a presentation at 5:15pm titled “Stay Scam Safe in a Digital World.” Then at 6:00pm, a draw will take place for a $500 fuel voucher. Everyone present can enter the draw, but the winner must be present at the draw.

The event will also feature light refreshments as a way to thank customers for their support throughout the store’s first year.

Over the past 12 months, axxis Narrabri has achieved strong engagement with the local community, including:

•    28,405 customers welcomed in-store;

•    2,185 new phones supplied; and

•    12,958 products and accessories provided.

“What’s stood out to me over the past year is how quickly the Narrabri community has embraced our team. We’re not just helping people with their phones – we’re having real conversations about staying connected, staying safe online, and making technology work in everyday life,” said Mathew Dickerson, founder of axxis.

“Our goal has always been to make telecommunications simple and accessible, and it’s been rewarding to see that approach resonate with customers in Narrabri.”

In addition to the founder of axxis, area manager Xander Peters will be in attendance along with the manager of the Narrabri store, Cassie Wilson and the local Narrabri team.
