The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance following a truck roll over on the Newell Highway, north of Narrabri, at 6:50pm on Monday, April 13.
A man aged in his 60s was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for suspected spinal injuries and was transported to Narrabri District Health Service to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical team.
After further assessment, the man was then airlifted to the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, in a serious condition.
