The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a motorcycle accident near Burren Junction at 11am on Tuesday, April 14.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a man aged in his 20s for multiple injuries on the scene, before being transported by road to meet the helicopter’s critical care medical team at Narrabri Airfield.
The patient was then airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
