IT was another busy week of competition at the Narrabri Golfie, with good fields taking part in stableford events across the previous week.
Neil Kinstler won Wednesday’s 9-hole Stableford Medley, held on 8 July, with 17 points on a countback from Sally Boyle, who also finished on 17 points.
In the Ladies 18-hole Stableford, Ingrid Moulds claimed the win with 37 points on a countback from Robin Ford, who also scored 37 points.
Nearest the pin winners were Myra Joseph on the eighth hole and Sandra Nott on the 12th.
Saturday’s 18-Hole Stableford Medley, played on 11 July, saw Adam Taylor win A-grade with 37 points on a countback from Paul Hulbert, while Shane Hartog-Smith was third with 36 points.
Craig Gleeson won B-grade with 35 points on a countback from Bruce Pyke, with John Fenton third, also on 35 points.
Phil Firth returned the best score of the day, winning C-grade with an excellent 43 points.
James Hartog-Smith was runner-up with 39 points and Ingrid Moulds finished third with 38 points.
Nearest the pin winners on Saturday were Nick Christakos (5th), Jason Smith (8th), David Cain (12th) and Bruce Pyke (16th).
On Sunday 12 July, Pam Waters won the 9-hole Stableford Medley with 20 points, ahead of Graham Cameron on 18 points.
