Lisa Pillar, Kay Carolan are president pairs champions

Lisa Pillar and Kay Carolan are the president pairs champions for 2025–2026.

They defeated Cindy Neil and Dawn Armstrong in a very close game.

The score on the 14th end was 13-all then 14-all on the 16th end.

Lisa and Kay then scored five on the last two ends to win the game 19–14.

In mixed pairs played on Thursday 13 August, Dawn and Colin Armstrong defeated Anthony Welchman and Marie Redman. On the Friday, Keith Stoltenberg and Lisa Pillar defeated Kay Carolan and Laurie Gilbert.

Social bowls were also played on Thursday.

Gloria Campey and Stuart Coleman defeated Cecile and Rob Pownall 19–10.

Dee Fletcher and Tony Redman defeated Trish Allison and Doug Mackereth 23–5.

Keith Stoltenberg played swinging lead and with a visitor Austin and Helen Woodward defeated Rhonda Fitzgerald and Kay Carolan 27–9.

Several games of mixed pairs were played on Thursday and Saturday 20 and 22 August.

On Thursday, Helen Woodward and Stuart Coleman defeated Di Chessells and Steve Daskey 21–12.

Cindy Neil and Tony Redman defeated Helen Woodward and Stuart Coleman in a very close game on Saturday.

Helen and Stuart led 14–7 after 11 ends.

Cindy and Tony then scored seven shots on the next three ends to even the score 14-all.

Cindy and Tony then scored five shots to two over the last four ends to win the game 19–16.

Lorraine Scott and Kevin Baguley defeated Keith Stoltenberg and Lisa Pillar.

Lorraine and Kevin led for the first 11 ends. The score was then even 12-all on the 12th end and 13-all on the 14th end.

Kevin and Lorraine then won the last four ends to win 17–13.

Debbie Gleeson and Peter Small defeated Ronnie and Dave Dewar 22–11.

The score was even on the 13th end at 11-all. Debbie and Peter scored 11 shots on the five ends to win the game.

Eva Sadler and Larry Scott defeated Dawn and Col Armstrong. Eva and Larry led from the second end and went on to win the game 22–11.
