Bellata, with support from Moree and Narrabri, forgot the drought for one night when the community staged the second Harvest under the Stars party at Bellata Golf Club on Saturday night.
“Last year’s ‘Harvest Under the Stars’ event was designed to bring everyone together, have a great time and forget the drought just for a while,” said an organiser Drew Penberthy.
“And with the second year in a row with basically no crops we held Harvest Under the Stars: Take 2 – ‘Down but not out – yet’.
