ONE of Wee Waa High School’s budding young writers is sharing her passion for agriculture through the school’s popular newsletter.
Relaunched late last year as part of the school’s High Potential and Gifted Education Program, the WWHS newsletter showcases student achievements, school news, sport, agriculture and community events, along with some cracking jokes.
Students have taken the lead role in researching and writing many of the stories.
This week’s edition features a great article by year 9 student Zoe Pocock.
The newsletter is supported by WWHS staff, including Lisa Currey, Gaye Devoy, Harriett Smallwood, who help and encourage the group of talented students to hone their journalistic skills and contribute to the newsletter’s development and success.
