IT was a close game between Namoi United Football Club’s reserve grade team and East Armidale FC on the weekend, but Namoi came away with the win 3-2. Connor Hill, Aden Bridge and Lennon Simmonds all scored goals for Namoi United, with Simmonds proving to be the match-winner, producing a clinical finish in his debut game.
It was a draw for Namoi United’s first-grade side against East Armidale FC, 1-1, with Lukasz Sarnot scoring.
Unfortunately, multiple missed opportunities in front of the goal proved costly for the team.
