Tatts Cricket Club’s first XI was crowned champions of the Narrabri District Cricket Association first grade one day competition this afternoon.

In the grand final played at Collins Park, Tatts defeated the Western Imperial Razorbacks by 26 runs.

Tatts batted first after skipper Tom Craig won the toss and the side scored 108 runs in 42 overs, with Craig Gleeson top scoring with 28.

Tatts then knocked over the Razorbacks for 82 runs in 36.1 overs, with Gleeson claiming a team-best 3-16 off six overs.

Craig took the final wicket of the game to secure his side the win, bowling Brendon Smith in the 37th over.

Tatts Cricket Club was also crowned club champions for the 2019-20 NDCA season at the presentation which was held at Collins Park after the game.

Meanwhile, RSL won the second grade decider against Tatts’ second XI by five wickets, chasing down the 101-run total set by Tatts.
