Anzac Day 2020 was unique.

For the first time in our national day’s history there were no public commemoration events or public gatherings due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

However, residents were encouraged to take part in a ‘silent salute’ and individuals and families marked the day with their own personal commemorations at home. Jamie Condon’s JAC Productions was busy in Narrabri on Anzac Day capturing images of individuals and displays as a voluntary community project in collaboration with The Courier.

Jamie has created a moving tribute with the compilation of video and still images from the past and present including many contributed from The Courier readers on Anzac Day.
