Narrabri Touch Inc’s annual general meeting was held on Wednesday, March 10, and all positions on the committee were filled.
Linton Grumley was returned as the president. Grumley thanked the past committee for all their help during the past year and said he was looking forward to another successful season.
The other committee members are as follows:
Vice-president – Mereka Gleeson, secretary and treasurer – Joan O’Neill, registrar – Emily McFetridge, publicity – Shannon Rily and Joan O’Neill, referee’s co-ordinator – Craig Gleeson, junior touch co-ordinators – Lorraine Scott and Lisa Macrae, groundsperson – Nathan Dicks and Larry Scott, general committee – Tracy Warren and Tanya Nolan.
Secretary and treasurer Joan O’Neill was pleased with the outcome of the meeting.
“It is really good to see that all the positions were filled,” O’Neill said.
“With so many members it would have been nice to see some other members step up and help out.
“Nathan Dicks has committed himself to mowing and marking the fields but would like to see some more help from members when needed.
“A big thank you to Tracy Warren for all her hard work in setting up our new program for registering and running our competition. Tracy has decided to step aside and let Emily McFetridge take over this position. Tracy will still be a valued member of our committee and will be there to assist where ever needed.
“Also a big thank you to Ken Nolan as well. Due to his work commitments he is unable to be a committee member. Ken has also been a valued member mowing and marking the fields.”
