Len Ryan and Laurie Gilbert will contest the 2021 Narrabri Sporties Senior Singles final this Saturday during what will be a huge day for the club when all three singles champions will be crowned.
The Major Singles final between Trinity Kelly and Norm Wolford and the Minor Singles final between Steve Daskey and Terry Wilson will also be contested on the day.
Last Saturday, Gilbert received a forfeit from Terry Wilson in one of the two Senior Singles semi-finals, while Ryan met Tony Redman in what was the only men’s club game played on the day.
Ryan got off to a great start and was leading 8-nil after just three ends. Redman took the next two ends to make the score 8-2.
Ryan then won 12 ends to 11 across the next 23 ends, scoring 23 shots to Redman’s 20 to take the game 31-22.
The closest the margin got was four shots at the completion of the 17th end, but Ryan piled on seven shots while winning the next three ends to extend his lead to 11 which allowed him to cruise home comfortably.

The 2021 Club Pairs competition will commence on Saturday, July 10.
