Officers from Narrabri Police Station paid their respects to former Inspector Robert (Bob) Tait on the 26th anniversary of his death.
Floral tributes were placed at a memorial in honour of Insp Tait, near the entrance to Narrabri Police Station.
The memorial stone in tribute to Insp Tait was unveiled on Police Remembrance Day in 2002.
Officer-in-charge of the Narrabri sector Chief Inspector Robert Dunn led the tributes at the recent ceremony and placed a wreath at the memorial.
Insp Tait, an officer-in-charge of the Narrabri sector, served in the force from 1964 to 1996.
