Blustery conditions saw Mount Kaputar dusted with snow from Wednesday to Thursday last week.
By Wednesday evening, the summit was engulfed in fog with light patches of snow.
The dusting continued overnight and into Thursday morning.
It was a far-cry from the blizzard-like conditions experienced last year, which saw visitors rescued, trees fall and the park close to visitors.
In Narrabri last week, the minimum temperature dropped to -2.2 degrees early on Thursday morning.
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, which manages Mount Kaputar National Park, encourages people to take precautions when
driving at Kaputar during inclement weather.
People are urged to follow the service’s advice as well as the advice of emergency services.
