“Switched On” is a way of describing how a small group of local photographers feel after our gradual emergence from the fog of the pandemic.
The dynamism, the energy and creativity have been largely switched off since the restriction of movement and gatherings.
The group missed their outings to various locations which always stimulated their creativity and brought into play each one’s unique perspective on what we saw with the added magic of capturing a moment in time which could be shared with others.
As it has been in society in general during this period it is nature, flora and fauna which has caught our eye presented in this exhibition.
The group took the opportunity to do something new by printing some images on metal, inviting the public to view the exhibition.
