Narrabri Junior Soccer held its annual general meeting at the Tourist Hotel on Sunday morning, where a strong committee was elected.

Danny Laws will lead the committee as its president once again, a decision that was well-received by the committee and soccer community, given his impressive leadership across the past few years.

Laws thanked his committee for all of their hard work in 2022 in his president’s report and outlined some successful moments during the season, which included being named Northern NSW Football’s club of the month for July 2022, and secretary Sam Lubke-Wood being an award finalist after being nominated for Northern NSW Football’s volunteer of the year award and then being selected as one of the final three to be in the running to win the award, which was presented in May during NNSWF’s 2022 Female Football Week celebrations.

The full committee is as follows: President – Danny Laws, vice-president – Jamie Ryan, secretary – Sam Lubke-Wood, treasurer – Mitch Wood, publicity officer – Cassey Treseder, MPIO – Danny and Toni Laws, registrar – Mitch Wood, canteen co-ordinator – Toni Laws, referee co-ordinator – Danny Laws and Mitch Wood, grounds’ co-ordinator – Steve Lubke, coaches’ co-ordinator – Jamie Ryan, carnival co-ordinators – Toni and Danny Laws, Stacey Cunningham and Amber Varcoe, committee members – Matt Wolters, Rose Lubke, Amber and Steve Varcoe, Cassey and Dan Treseder.
