Christmas has come to Maitland Street.
Each year Narrabri Chamber of Commerce members unpack the chamber’s six-metre-high Christmas tree, fluff out its branches, and erect and decorate it to brighten the festive season.
Volunteers brought the tree out of its storage and assembled it on Saturday and Sunday on the Narrabri Post Office lawn.
The big Christmas tree is the chamber’s annual gift to the community – this is the ninth year the Christmas tree has been installed.
There is now a special addition with Santa adorning the nearby container.
Families are invited to check out the tree, which looks especially festive when the lights come on at night.
The Chamber is grateful to those who help with the tree every year, especially the Gale families and those businesses who donate equipment.
