A crowd of 140 people attended the Bellata Memorial Hall for Saturday night’s comedy show on February 4.

The Queens of Queensland Drag Show with Gold Coast best queens Karmin Dioxide and Kora Kurvacious contributed to the night of entertainment to raise money for the Bellata War Memorial Hall.

An evening of comedy, music, cocktails, drag shows, prizes, and a DJ kept the capacity crowd entertained throughout the evening.

Jo Dufty thanked the generosity of sponsors of the event and said that it was great to see the audience embracing the drag queen culture.

“I felt we were incredibly lucky to stage an event which encourages the inclusion and expression of a culture that we would not often see out in a small country town,” said Mrs Dufty.

“The crowd enjoyed an entertaining night with lots of laughter and great company.

“I would like to thank my hard-working committee of helpers who made the night a great success.”
