The Stars of Narrabri Dance for Cancer will return to The Crossing Theatre stage this year to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Council NSW.
The dance spectacular returns to Narrabri on Saturday, June 24 and the 10 contestants have hit the ground running with their fundraising efforts.
The contestants this year are Kylie Browne, Brett Dickinson, Ben Duncan, Stacey Dunn, Fiona Redfern, Mitch Creighton, Terrence Duncan, Karen Kirkby, Nikki Shields and Louise Tout.
A launch night was held at the Narrabri RSL in late March.
Stars are encouraged to raise at least $3000 each.
Some have already set their sights on higher goals.
Overall, Cancer Council NSW aims to raise at least $30,000 from this year’s dance night.
Dancers raised more than $42,000 when the event was last held in 2021.
All money raised goes towards supporting Cancer Council services in the Tamworth region, including Inala House in Tamworth, Home Help and the 13 11 20 support line.
