Robyn Bible of the Australian Geranium Society spoke to an enraptured crowd at a Narrabri Garden Club meeting held at the 1st Narrabri West Scout Hall in Wukawa Street on Thursday, April 19.
More than 50 attended the gathering with visitors from Werris Creek, Tamworth, Gunnedah, and Wee Waa Garden Clubs.
Narrabri Garden Club members and guests enjoyed the hour-long presentation which covered all aspects of geranium growing.
Attendees were treated to interesting information about the large number of varieties in the geranium family, propagation techniques, and intricacies involved in plant breeding
methods.
A delicious morning tea was served by Narrabri Garden Club members led by club hostess Lyn Tuckey.
A huge display of geraniums was available for sale, complete with signage showing variety descriptions and technical information which proved to be very popular with the garden enthusiasts.
