Nominations for the Narrabri Chamber of Commerce Business Awards will soon close and people are being encouraged to recognise local businesses for excellence before the cut-off date.

Awards nominations close on August 10. Forms are available from The Courier office and at local outlets around town. An online version on the chamber’s website.

Completed forms can be returned to The Crossing Theatre, The Courier office or via email or post to the chamber.

“It just takes five minutes to recognise a business,” chamber president Russell Stewart told The Courier last week.

Businesses are also being encouraged to secure their spot at the gala dinner, to be held on Saturday, September 14, by booking tickets at The Crossing Theatre.

The chamber dinner prices remain unchanged from last year – $110 for chamber members and $125 for non-members.

Included in the ticket price is a three-course dinner and four hour drinks package.

This year, renowned Australian comedian Kat Davidson will again return to the gala night as the master-of-ceremonies for the special occasion.
