Pre-poll voting for the Narrabri Shire Council elections will start on Saturday, September 7.
Two pre-poll centres will be established in the shire, one each in Narrabri and Wee Waa.
Early voting will be available on the Saturday and will then run from Monday, September 9 to Friday, September 13.
Polling day will be held on Saturday, September 14.
Pre-poll voting in Narrabri will be conducted at the Narrabri Aquatic Centre multi-purpose room.
In Wee Waa, it will be held at the CWA rooms.
Voting at local government elections is compulsory for anyone who is eligible to vote.
With local government elections, you must cast your vote in the council area you are enrolled in.
If people are unable to vote on election day and at a pre-polling centre in the shire, they can apply to the NSW Electoral Commission for a postal vote package.
Applications for postal voting close at 5pm on Monday, September 9.
