Adult Learners Week was celebrated in Boggabri with a series of tech savvy workshops at the Boggabri Library.
While the attendance numbers were small, the information was huge, very appropriate and useful according to participants.
Smart phones and tablets were running hot as owners learnt how to set up, send and receive emails, setting up and using myGov, benefits, and the common links such as Centrelink, Australian Tax Office, My Health Record and Medicare.
One of the most important topics was the cyber safety component.
Avoiding common scams and how to deal with them.
Linking phones and tablets, apps and many more questions were answered.
