Maules Creek hosted a screening event for Flickerfest, the nation’s leading Academy Qualifying and BAFTA Recognised short film festival.
The Best of Australian Shorts program highlights, all handpicked favourites from the recent Bondi festival competitions, was screened on Friday night.
Flickerfest-goers were able to admire the incredible short film talent that exists in the emerging Australian industry with a host of Australian stories honouring the nation’s unique identity and culture in the Best of Australian Shorts programme.
Guests also enjoyed dinner at the Maules Creek Hall.
As advertised in The Courier last week, a Flickerfest event will be held in Pilliga on October 19.
