Narrabri High School Stage 5 students were involved in the ‘Police Talks’ last term presented by Youth Engagement officer, Senior Constable Ben Stride.
The talks created to help students understand and navigate community issues such as domestic violence, drugs and vapes.
Strategies were given such as apps, community connections and the group discussed bystander behaviours.
An afternoon session offered parents the opportunity to look at social media supports to guide teens and provide guidance for complex situations.
