The Wee Waa & District Preschool Association Incorporated is excited to announce its annual Melbourne Cup Calcutta and Golf Day, set to take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the Wee Waa Golf Club.
Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted more than 30 enthusiastic golfers competing in a lively three-man ambrose format, this year’s festivities are poised to be even more
exciting.
Participants will hit the greens to compete for various prizes, followed by the highly anticipated Melbourne Cup Calcutta.
Last year’s event not only fostered community spirit but also raised essential funds that helped renovate the front yard of the preschool, creating a more engaging environment for the young learners.
In an exciting addition to this year’s festivities, the event will feature a Ladies Long Lunch, made possible through collaboration with Narrabri Shire via the Community Financial Assistance Grant.
This delightful afternoon offers a chance for everyone to relax and enjoy good company alongside the golfing action.
