Narrabri will turn pink again next month then the Narrabri District Cricket Association’s charity cup game is contested under lights on Friday, December 20.

The NDCA announced this week that the Narrabri-based Pink Up Namoi would be the beneficiary for the first Town v Country match to be contested since 2018.

“The NDCA are pleased to announce that the beneficiary of the T20 Town v Country Charity Cup match on Friday, December 20, will be Pink Up Namoi – McGrath Foundation,” an NDCA statement declared.

“Pink Up Namoi is a local breast cancer fundraiser that supports the McGrath Foundation and its goal of funding 250 McGrath Breast Care Nurses by 2025.

“The campaign encourages communities to come together to raise both funds and awareness through pink-themed events.

“If you would like to contribute to the fundraising efforts, we are in the final stages of the design of the playing shirts and have several sponsorship opportunities available, so please contact the NDCA to discuss what might suit you.”

The match will be contested at either Collins Park or Hogan Oval.
