The wedding of Sally Dunnet and Josh Moinet was celebrated in the picturesque village of Flore, Northamptonshire in England on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

Sally is the youngest daughter of Ian and Wanda Dunnet of Narrabri and Josh is the second son of Gary and Julie Moinet, Flore.

On a perfect sunny English summer’s day 120 guests attended the ceremony in the beautiful garden setting of the 400-year-old Flore House.

Internationally many guests travelled from Australia and New Zealand including Sally‘s parents, her sisters and their families, friends and relatives, with Moinet family and friends making the trip from Portugal and Singapore.

Closer to Flore, family and friends came from different parts of the UK, including Sally’s brother John Dunnet who lives in London.

The celebrant was Elliot Sharpe, a long-time friend of Josh’s who was also a groomsman.

Sally was attended by her sisters Jane Edmonds, maid of honour, and Margot Kopsen, and friends Claudia Stevenson, Sophie MacCue and Lulu Morris.

Josh’s groomsmen were his brothers Sam and Ben Moinet, who were joint best men, and friends Sam Cox, Sam Caunt, Stuart Palmer and Elliot Sharpe.

Sally’s nieces Violet and Daisy Edmonds were flower girls and Josh’s nephew Dexter Moinet was page boy.

Josh’s grandmother Janet Masters read the words to the popular love song The Wonder of You at the ceremony, and the bride and groom exchanged vows which they had written for each other.

Sally’s dress was a classic silk style, by an Australian designer, featuring hand draping over a figure hugging corset flowing into an A-line skirt with side split and train, offset by soft, off the shoulder sleeves and a floor-length single tier ivory tulle veil.

Sally’s attendants wore pale lemon dresses of different styles, while the flower girls wore ivory faux silk dresses featuring a large bow at the back.

Josh was resplendent in an ivory jacket, dark trousers and a bow tie.

The groomsmen wore black tie and Dexter was dressed in a smart ensemble of vest, pants, shirt and bow tie.

After the ceremony the guests walked next door to The Garden House, the Moinet family home, where the reception was held.

Guests formed a guard of honour to welcome the newly weds, showering confetti as the couple walked down the entrance drive to the sound of the neighbouring centuries old All Saints Church bells tolling to honour the occasion.

Pre-dinner drinks and canapés were served in the parterre garden after which guests were seated in a marquee for the dinner and formal part of the evening.

Speeches were made by parents, Gary and Julie Moinet and Ian and Wanda Dunnet, joint best men Sam and Ben Moinet, maid of honour Jane Edmonds, the bride Sally Moinet, and the groom Josh Moinet.

After the cutting of the cake which was a three-tiered white chocolate mud cake made by Juanita Ouston, a friend of Sally and Josh, the guests moved to the dance floor where Sally and Josh had their first dance.

The guests joined them and danced the night away to the sounds of Truly Medly Deeply, a three-piece band.

A recovery party was held the following day, hosted by Gary and Julie Moinet in their beautiful garden which was the perfect setting for the weekend’s celebrations.

Sally and Josh have made their home in Towcester, England.
