Friday evening, November 21, Narrabri High School had the pleasure of presenting our Visual Arts Showcase at The Exchange in Narrabri.
The event was a wonderful celebration of creativity, dedication and achievement across our visual arts, music, and hospitality faculties.
This year’s exhibition featured an impressive 87 artworks created by 46 students, highlighting the breadth of talent within our school community.
Visitors were treated to an engaging variety of media, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography and lino printing.
A particular highlight was the display of our HSC visual arts major works, which demonstrated the exceptional standard of artistic practice achieved by our senior students.
The evening also featured live musical performances from our Year 11 and 12 music students, whose contributions helped create an inviting and vibrant atmosphere.
Light refreshments prepared by our hospitality students from Stella’s Café, who once again highlighted their professionalism and skill.
With around 80 people in attendance, the showcase was not only an opportunity to exhibit students’ work but also a chance to strengthen connections within our community.
The support shown by families, friends, fellow students and staff is a testament to the value we place on the arts and the encouragement we give our young people to explore and express their creativity.
