The festive season got off to a sparkling start in Boggabri as local seniors were treated to a wonderful Christmas lunch, thanks to the generosity of the Boggabri Lions Club.
The event brought together community members for lunch, lively entertainment and cheerful company.
The catering was expertly handled by the Boggabri Public P&C committee, who provided delicious salads with tender slices of turkey and ham.
This was followed by a dessert guaranteed to satisfy any sweet tooth – trifle, ice cream, plum pudding and custard.
Adding to the enjoyment of the occasion were students from Boggabri Public School, delighted attendees with a performance of ‘Santa Bring Me a Dinosaur’.
Thanks to the Boggabri Lions Club and Boggabri Public School, this annual tradition continues to bring joy and community spirit.
