KEVIN Baguley has won Narrabri Bowling Club’s consistency singles final for 2025–2026.

Baguley defeated Keith Stoltenberg in a very close game.

Baguley led for the first four ends before Stoltenberg scored an 8-2 to take the lead 27-23.

Stoltenberg held the lead until the eighth end, with the score then 41-39 to Baguley.

Baguley led for the remainder of the game and won 150-144 on the 31st end.

In the ladies’ president pairs, Cindy Neil and Dawn Armstrong defeated Cecile and Lyn Tuckey 17-13 and Lisa Pillar and Kay Carolan defeated Marie Redman and Rhonda Fitzgerald 18-5.

The final of president pairs will be played on Saturday 15 August at 9am between Cindy Neil and Dawn Armstrong versus Lisa Pillar and Kay Carolan.

The mixed pairs will begin this Thursday.

Marie Redman and Anthony Welchman versus Col and Dawn Armstrong.

Friday 1pm.

Lisa Pillar and Keith Stoltenberg versus Kay Carolan and Laurie Gilbert.

Saturday 9.30am.

Di Chessells and Steve Daskey versus Helen Woodward and Stuart Coleman.

The game between Ronnie and Dave Dewar v Debbie Gleeson and Peter Small will be played on 22 August.

Social bowls were played on 6 August.

Three bowl triples:

Ronnie Dewar, Col Armstrong and Keith Stoltenberg defeated Trish Allison, Rhonda Fitzgerald and Tony Redman 19-12.

Dee Fletcher, Eva Sadler and Stuart Coleman defeated Helen Woodward, Marie Reddman and Di Chessells 23-12.

Glennis Godden, Doug Mackereth and Rob Pownall defeated David Briggs, Yvonne Hardman and Kay Carolan 24-16.

Social bowls will be played on Thursday 13 August.
