Narrabri Rugby Club completed a memorable Dangar Park blue rinse in style on Saturday when the club’s first grade side took down Gunnedah Red Devils in round three of the 2026 Central North Rugby Union campaign. Club championships get underway at Narrabri Golf Club

The Narrabri Golf Club’s 2026 Club Championships tournament began at the weekend, with rounds one and two contested on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. There were 74 golfers in action across the six divisions, with 17 lining up in men’s A-grade, 26 competing in men’s B-grade, 13 playing in men’s C-grade, four featuring in ladies’ A-grade, and seven in each of the ladies’ B-grade and C-grade divisions. Tom Ison had a day to remember at the Narrabri Showground on Sunday as the Tamworth trainer/driver won five of the six races during Narrabri Harness Racing Club’s second and final meeting of the year, setting two track records, winning two finals and claiming the Narrabri Cup in the process.
