Narrabri Bowling Club’s Archie Sheppard, Peter Williams, Anthony Welchman and Tony Redman were crowned section A champions in the annual Narrabri Bowls long weekend Ken Druce Memorial tournament.
The tournament was played over two days, Saturday and Sunday.
Bowlers from across the region and central coast converged on Narrabri on the weekend for the tournament.
And the bowlers enjoyed a great two days of bowls in fine weather.
This year the event was reduced to two days instead of the usual three. An organiser, Bruce Newton, said 22 teams, 88 bowlers, took part in the tournament.
“This is the club’s biggest tournament” he said.
