Forty nine businesses in Boggabri have banded together to form the Boggabri Workshop Group.
Spokeswoman Jo Bell explained that the group is relatively new having set up in February 2019 with the aim of looking at ways to promote themselves in tough times as well as promoting and building positive morale in the Boggabri community.
Cloe Davis has been working on the templates for the nine televisions set up in businesses across the central business district.
The group has also created a web page.
The web site will be for the whole of the Boggabri community.
Businesses, community events and the community directory will feature on the page.
The big project that the group are working on at present is the Merton Street, street scapes.
Craig Devine and Jo Bell were disappointed to learn they had missed out on the community funding to erect structures promoting and encouraging people to visit Boggabri.
The plan has been put together with the help of shire tourism manager Penny Jobling and she is also helping them seek alternative funding.
