The Boggabri and District Rugby League Football Club committee often jokes that there is no such thing as an off season.
This off season is no different with the club as busy as ever.
The club recently travelled in droves to Sydney for an end of season trip which included watching the NRL grand final live at ANZ Stadium.
The club will also field a team into the Group Four Rugby League ladies’ nines tackle competition which kicks off this Saturday at Chillingworth Oval, Tamworth.
The Kangaroos will take on the South West Robins in their first match of the three-weekend campaign.
The Boggabri club also recently welcomed a new grand stand at their home ground Jubilee Oval.
Construction of the grandstand began in July and finished on September 20.
Kangaroos president Greg Haire said it was a great addition to the club’s home.
