Round two of the 2019-20 Narrabri Touch Inc summer season was contested at Cooma Oval fields yesterday evening.

The 20 teams that were in action in round one started the season in style, combining for 89 tries.

Yesterday that increased to 94 tries scored throughout the evening during one less game.

There were nine matches contested in round two.

In the men’s Pool A Gee Bangers defeated Mowley’s Maniacs 11-1, DTA Lumberjacks edged out ODAPs 6-5, and Grumley Builders beat Ballbusters 9-2.

In men’s Pool B Hidden Talent and One23 Cafe played out a 3-all draw, Win Or Booze outscored Stylies 9-3 and Damien Chiplin Plumbing overcame Cougars 8-5.

In the ladies’ competition Agies Ladies played its first game after sitting out of round one with the bye.

The side started in style, keeping a clean sheet as they defeated Phoenix Two390 13-0.

In the other ladies’ games Redbacks beat Hounddogs 7-3, Xtra edged out Bluebirds 4-2, and RSL Roulettes forfeited against BPR.

Specialised Civil Services had the round two bye.
