A big crowd was in attendance at the Tourist Hotel on Friday evening.
Brendon Ward kicked off the entertainment at 6.30pm followed by band Eric Grothe and The Gurus later in the evening.
The Gurus are solid rockin’ four piece covers band that has its origins from Sydney bands, ‘Three Day Grothe’ and ‘Dave Gleeson and His Band The Stilsons’.
Rugby league legend Eric Grothe fronts the band on vocals and guitar.
Grothe played 152 games for the Parramatta Eels from 1979–89, and during that time played nine games for NSW and eight games for Australia.
